Being Fearless isnt being 100% unafraid.

Its being terrified but you jump anyways. I know that it has been awhile since I have blogged but I have decided that in my last month of Masters I want to try and blog as much as I can. I can be very forgetful to do so but I am going to try. Masters has an amazing night tonight. We got the chance to go to Sarah Mccords church a first year in Masters. It was an amazing night. God was so present there and it was such a beautiful thing. I always love being in his presence like tonight. He always shows me that he has a hold of my heart in every way. I wouldn't change moments like tonight for anything.

So tonight I want to talk about being fearless. Now I'm not talking about the kind of fearless that causes us to do stupid things but I am talking about the feeling of being fearless in those moments. I want to tell you a personal recent story of me being the stupid kind of fearless. About a month ago me and a few friends were at a Rodney and Shawna's house a couple that goes to our church. They told us they had a dirt bike and of course I couldn't pass an opportunity up like that doing something I love and dont get to do very often. So we ride for a little while and Rodney had this little ramp and me being me thought it would be the perfect time to ramp that dirt bike oh yeah I forgot to mention how when I first got onto the bike I did this epic wheelie which I had never done on a dirt bike before so the thrill I got that just made me feel invincible. So anyways back to the ramp....I had the most amazing adrenaline rush ever and I thought that nothing bad could happen so as I am going around the house to get to the ramp I start to go fast and I was going way to fast so when I hit the ramp it nosed dived and I flew off of it landing on my head first and also I was NOT wearing a helmet yeah I know I wasn't using my brain. That feeling a got is the feeling I desire when I tell people about God when I do things that I normally wouldn't do. Yes in that story I wasn't being very smart but the point I'm trying to get across is that we need to live a fearless life.
We can be so afraid of being judged or criticized or getting laughed at. But the only thing fear does in our lives is stop our progress. What matters to God is relationship…not performance. God knows we aren't perfect, and He's totally okay with it. The problem is, the devil knows it too, and he does his best to tell us every step of the way! We can be going along, serving God, doing good, stepping out in faith and then all of a sudden, without there being any justification for it, we'll have a day or week when we have an attack on our mind about fear. That's when we need to say what God's Word tells us: For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds,  casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,2 Corinthians 2:4-5 We were made to be fearless. If we live in fear then the Devil will always get what he wants. When we are fearless we can stand up to the Devil and the thoughts he places in out head. We must let God take control of our hearts and let us live a fearless life so we can do the things he has called us to do.....He did NOT call me to wreck a dirt bike that was just me not using my brain that he gave me. hahaha Well I hope you have enjoyed my newest blog. I will hopefully doing this more often. Love you all! Thanks for reading. :)
