"The secret of patience....

is doing something else in the meanwhile". Today was a pretty great day. It was mainly laid back. The best part of the day was our amazing Masters Photo-shoot. Even though it was freezing cold we all still had a lot of fun. I'm telling you that by the end of the photo-shoot my toes were frozen off. I though I lost them all. We were all red from being so cold but its crazy how your having so much fun that you really don't even care. But Meghan did such a marvelous job. I'm sure I have mentioned this before but I would love to mention it again, we literally have the best most talented directors ever. God has truly blessed MCGC. Its not all about just us Masters kids having fun but us having fun with our directors as well. I love it.
So I am going to blog about something we a lot of us deal with. The wonderful life of being single. Okay so lately I have just been totally discouraged on ever finding the "right guy". I mean I look at all my siblings and they are all basically married or in a very serious relationship besides of course me and my little sister. I'm happy for every single one of them but i always ask God, "When is it my turn"? You know what I don't know when it will be my turn. To be honest no one really does besides the one who created this beautiful thing called Love. I know that God will give me the desires of my heart and to be a wife and mother is one of the top things I want to be. I believe that I will have that desire eventually but waiting idle is not what I am about to do. Yes, one day an amazing guy will come along and want to pursue me but until then I will keep chasing after God. I will let God be enough for me and he will always always always be enough for me. Patience is hard but my life really isn't my life it is God's so whatever his will be is the will I will be happy with. I remember thinking that right after I finished my first year that I would find this guy and we would end up falling madly in love and getting married. But that is not what happened. I realize that I got caught up in what I wanted and not what God had for me after my first year. So here I am in my second year of Masters being single. But I must be okay with that. You see we must be okay with being single so that we don't just take any guy that comes along because then we wont get that amazing guy God has for us. To be honest being single is the best time to become a stronger man or woman of God. Being single is a time when its just about You and God. As silly as this may sound, Be God's bride. He loves you more than any human possible could so why do we seek others love more than His? Let us be content with what God has given us now. Don't be chasing after things that God isn't ready for us to have. Believe me I know its hard and I know it sucks. But God never said it would be easy. But he did say he would give us the desires of our hearts. So in the end we will be happy with what we are given. You will be happy that you waited patiently until then chase after God. Find ways to stay busy and love life and always smile. Do things for God. Also, until you find the "right one" make sure you set standards for that next relationship and never lower them. Because God will give you someone who will want the same things as you. Remember, the only love you need is the love from our Father. <3
