The Bible is a life Compass,

 pointing you in the right direction. I know I haven't been blogging as much as I wanted to while I was in Masters but I really try my best to keep up with it. It's just if I'm not busy with Masters activity's I am busy doing my school work. So tonight I really should be reading but I wanted to take like 15 mins to just talk about whats been going on. So over the weekend I got to go to Kentucky to visit some of my family. Mainly we were going to see my Uncle because he is sick. But it was really nice getting that family time in. I have really been missing my family and even when I am with them I miss them. I think I just know my time with them is slim until I come back to Hamilton. I miss being able to see my parents and siblings whenever I want. But this is life, this is growing up. Its crazy because all my family is in Indiana but I feel most of my close friends are in Ohio so either way a part of me is missing but I know wherever I go God is always with me to fill the lonely spots. So today I had piano lessons, which is one of the main things I look forward to during the week. I am learning You are for me by Kari Jobe. It is a difficult song but it is beautiful. But I am getting better a playing. It has taken a lot of practice to get where I am but I still have a lot more to learn. It is so worth it though. I hope everyone has been doing great and staying focused on God. I pray that all your families are doing well. Oh, I also got to go to City Conquest today with David and I feel like I am getting to know some of the kids better which my goal is to build friendships with a lot of the students.

So today we had a very good class with Pastor Diane. It was something we all needed to hear as we have things we want to do but aren't doing anything about it. We all have these goals that we want to accomplish, that we feel God has called us to but we don't want to prepare ourselves for those things. Its like with me I want to do missions work but when I really take a step back, what all am I doing to prepare for missions work? I don't even have my passport yet and that is one very important thing I will need for going out of the United States. Another thing is, I only know the English language but it would be very useful if I knew other languages for parts of the countries God may send me. We must be willing to take the time and effort to prepare ourselves for what God has in store for us. We cant just expect it to all just happen without us meeting God half way. God places things on our heart so that we can prepare for those things. They aren't just going to happen. So why not start preparing know for the things you already know God has called you to? Better to start now then start later when you could of already had those things done. Your never to young to prepare yourself for what God has called you to. Maybe your not even sure where God is leading you, well if that's the case ask him for direction. God is leading you somewhere you just need to pray and ask him to show you those things that he is leading you to.

"I have but one passion - it is He, it is He alone. The world is the field and the field is the world;

and henceforth that country shall be my home where I can be most used in winning souls for Christ." I'm so very happy that I am having the time to blog again. I was going to be very upset if I had to miss another night. My day was really good. It was very laid back. Today me, Jocelyn, Sean, and Jacob got to plan everything for 4-C tomorrow which was really cool because I've never really had the chance to plan something like that with other students. So I really enjoyed it. I love going to 4-C it is actually a lot of fun. We planned for a very fun day tomorrow as well so I'm sure the kids will enjoy it. After the day for Masters was done I had piano practice with David. I am now learning the song “You are for me”. Kari Jobe sings it. Its one of my favorite songs so I asked David to teach me it. Its kind of difficult but with plenty of practice I know I can learn it. Then there was UTH. It was an amazing night as always. I was very happy about all the people that were there. Its nice to have a good group of people there. So my day was pretty entertaining.

So last night I know I spoke on something I read from Radical and yet again I am going to do that tonight because I am so moved by this book. It really is like a slap in the face when you read it because I know a lot of you would change your views on a lot of things if you read this book. So this is one thing I read and it is so true. “ We take Jesus' command in Matthew 28 to make disciples of all nations, and we say, “That means other people.” But we look at Jesus' command in Matthew 11:28, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest,” and we say, “Now, that means me.” We take Jesus' promise in Acts 1:8 that the Spirit will lead us to the ends of the earth, and we say, “That means some people.” But we take Jesus' promise in John 10:10 that we will have abundant life, and we say, “That means me.” How moving is that right there? Since when did God tell us that we can pick and choose what is for us. You know this is true for a lot of us. We want to say “Well God isn't leading me anywhere but to where I am at.” But think of it like this, If our heart is completely not open to going anywhere else then we aren't even going to hear the call of God because we have already decided within ourselves that he never will. So we have already basically made the decision for God. Which isn't what he wants for us at all. We must have open hearts to everything. You know I believe that we are all called to go to other nations. Just because you go to another nation does not mean you must move there. It is just simply going and sharing the gospel of God to people who never even get a chance to hear about him. Guys, this is something that is so serious because there are so many people that are dying and going to hell right as I type this very sentence. My heart breaks because all I want to do is reach a dying and lost world. If we are so stubborn to go out to other nations then who is going to? Because if your mind is set at “Well other people will do it” what makes you think that other people don't have that same mind set? You can do so many things where you are at but you can also do things in other Nations. Why not do both? Just think of how many people you can reach by going to ALL nations. Sounds crazy, but sounds so amazing to me. Make sure you have an open and willing heart to be used by God wherever he may lead you. :)

Dependent on ourselves,

 Or desperate for His Spirit? So I know its been a couple of days since I have blogged but it just seems I haven't had the time. But the past few days have been really good. On Sunday me, Katie, and Jocelyn got to do Kidz Klub which was a lot of fun. Last year I actually didn't even like being in Kidz but this year I totally love it. After church us three went to Clint's football scrimmage which they beat the other team. It was much fun. Monday we woke up to Leash jumping on us. She made a surprise visit which was wonderful. She actually left this morning after prayer which makes me sad. It's so good to have her around. But God is doing amazing things in her life right now in Kentucky so I'm very proud of her. Most of us went to Chipotle yesterday and then some of us girls went to Anna's for some amazing ice cream and to watch a movie with her on her birthday. Then there was today, and it was just like any other Masters day. The past couple of days have just been really good. So thankful for the people God has placed in my life.

So I know I have shared some stuff with you about this book I'm reading called Radical but I'm still not finished with it and it just keeps getting better and better. But I want to share something with you that I read last night. This is something the author David Platt said "The reality is that it doesn't matter how many resources that church has. The church I lead could have all the man-made resources that one could imagine, but apart from that power of the Holy Spirit, such a church will do nothing of significance for the glory of God. In fact, I believe the opposite is true. The church I lead could have the least gifted people, the least talented people, the fewest leaders, and the least money, and this church under the power of the Holy Spirit could still shake the nations for His glory." What I continue to grasp when I read this book is that it doesn't really matter about who we are, or what we can do but it matters how much of God's power we have in us. His power is so superior to ours. Why do we not desperately seek it? When it comes to a church we get so caught up in all the things that will attract people to come into our church but how does it even matter what the number we bring in, if we have completely forgotten the power of the Holy Spirit within our church. A small church with very few people but has the power of God within their church is going to be much more affective in this world than a huge church without any of God's power within the church. We have to realize that we need God's power, we need the Holy Spirit within us and within our church. The Holy Spirit is the Comforter, the Helper, the Guide, the very presence of God living in you. The Holy Spirit is so vital in our relationship with God. This book has literally made me realize a lot of things and I'm not even finished with it. I know that as I continue to read I will continue to learn more and more things. I believe tomorrow I will also talk about something else I read from this book because it has really kept my mind thinking. If you haven't read it, I really think you should. If you didn't see from before this book is called Radical written by David Platt. Remember to not ever doubt who you are in God because that is who he wants you to be, even if there are little things that you need to change that doesn't mean you are less than anyone else because we all have things to change about ourselves to continue to strengthen our relationship with God. May your day tomorrow be amazing and filled with happiness. I love you all.

“As a child of God,

I am greater than anything that can happen to me." Today was a beautiful day all together. I love days where I can sleep in and just relax then in the evening do something enjoyable. Tonight was the Missions Banquet at HCC. Masters just had to get drinks all together and get the desserts cut up and set out which wasn't hard. It was a really good time, we got to hear two people speak one who's name is Moses and the other who is Sean Sloan which is Pastor Sloan's son. They both brought great messages. Afterwards we had to tear stuff down and clean everything up which wasn't bad at all. You can really enjoy stuff like that if you have a great attitude which all of Masters did. It's so awesome when we all get to work together as a team and actually get along really good with great attitudes.

So the theme of the Missions Banquet is “Children of the World”. Which I love. There are so many homeless, hurting, and broken children in the world who aren't receiving any love from anyone. I pray that one day God places me somewhere where I can help and love the children like this. Two things I really want to do in the next year is go to India and also go to Sunshine acres. I'm going to be planning a trip to India shortly because Missions Me is going on one in June for $2,995 and I know that if God wants me to go on this trip he will find a way for me. The trip is focused on the Orphans in India. Its so crazy because I never imagined God placing a place like India on my heart because I've always been focused on Africa but I know that one day Ill go to Africa but right now God has other plans for me. Then there is Sunshine Acres and it is the place where my Directors, Meghan and Josue worked before they came here. They offer homes to children who don't have anywhere else to go who have lost parents, or there parents cant take care of them . They have 7 homes on the land with 10 children in each home. It is run by Pastor Sloans son, Sean Sloan. I pray that I will be given an opportunity to go there even if it is just to volunteer for a week or so. I also encourage you to check out Sunshine acres online and offer any kind of donation you can. It is probably one of the best organizations I have heard of. So I ask that you would please be in prayer for me that maybe just maybe I will have the opportunity to do both of these this coming year. But another thing is, is if you have a heart for hurting, broken, or homeless children then step out and use that heart God has given you for these children because I can tell you that not everyone has a heart for them. There are so many children out there looking for loving people like us so why aren't we stepping out and looking for them. They shouldn't have to look for us, we should just be there with open and loving arms like Jesus is. Maybe your heart is somewhere else if it is then don't be discouraged that you aren't able. God has placed things in our hearts so that we may do those things. We are all able for what God has called and willed us to do. I hope you all have a wonderful Sunday. I love every single one of you. <3

Grace does not grant permission to live in the flesh;

it supplies power to live in the Spirit. So today was a really good day. I have found myself not having very many of those good days where I can really smile and be happy. So last night at Uth I was like this has to change I need to be back to that happy person that God has created me to be. So this morning when I woke up, I woke up and said today shall be a good day with a smile on my face. You know what I spoke that good day into existence because my day was wonderful. I mean nothing out of the ordinary happened but when I can smile and just enjoy the day it makes it wonderful. You know everyday should be a wonderful day because God has actually given us another day so therefore we find that to be wonderful so it makes our day wonderful. Ahhh wouldn't it be nice if we could just see it that way. I know I wish I could. But today Masters was pretty laid back. I got to go to city conquest with Grant we went to Wilson school which is 7th and 8th graders it was my first time at the new building. We rented a movie for tonight called Hanna which was really good it was an action movie very interesting. Also a lot of us play Fruit Ninja and the ones that do are very competitive and we found out tonight that Josue has a high score of 948 which is a bummer because I'm not sure if I can get that high of a score. But I'm going to try for it.

Okay so I just finished reading Judges because we have a book report due tomorrow on it and I just want to talk a little bit about Gideon and also about God's grace for us. I think that Gideon was a pretty cool guy because no matter what God asked of him and no matter how crazy it sounded Gideon trusted God's word and did what seemed to be impossible. Gideon has even said to God my clan is the weakest and he is the least in his fathers house but the Lord said “I will be with you and you will defeat the Midianites”. Gideon did as the Lord had asked he didn't doubt his weakness because he knew that God would be with him through it all. We as Christians need to be like this. We are never to weak to do anything that is of God. We need to not doubt our abilities because where ever God is leading us then he must believe in us. We may seem like we are not as able as someone else but the thing is, is if that is what God has asked of us then why wouldn't we be able? Sometimes it takes a heart full of trust in God to do the things he has set out for us. Another thing about God that we can see in Judges is that no matter how many times we sin, fail, or turn away from God he will never leave us. His grace for the Israelites is astounding. They served other gods, they sinned so many times and not matter how many times they let God down when they realized they truly needed him and they cried out to Him he was there for them. Just like he is there for us today. Now who do you know that loves you this much? The only one I know that loves me this much is God. I hope you can pull a little something out of this. I really liked learning about Gideon you should read Judges 6 starting a verse 11 that is where it talks about Gideon or you could just read all of Judges. :) I hope you have a wonderful and blessed day tomorrow. Much Love, Maegan
Yay for school work. :)
Always having fun together.

The difference between perseverance and obstinacy is that....

one often comes from a strong will and the other from a strong won't.
So today has been an up and down day. But God was with me through the whole day so it makes its all good. I got up this morning feeling very sick. I have been sick for like four weeks now and its really just affecting me. So I'm on antibiotics hoping I'll get better fast. I went to Colerain to spend time with my Mom and two sisters. We went shopping and had lunch it was a good time because they always brighten my day. God has blessed me with the most amazing family ever. I then came back and me, Joc, and Katie went shopping for groceries we didn't have to get a lot so it was a quick trip. Then came back here and just hung out did some of my school work and now I'm here writing my blog that I almost didn't do but decided it was best if I did.

So one thing I want to share that I have been really grabbing onto the past couple days is persevering through the hard times. Sometimes it feels like we are never going to get to the end of it but we know that there is an end but giving up just seems easier. One thing that I get in my mind that keeps me going is this. We all know God has a path for us that we can follow or we can choose make our own path. So I imagine me on the path that God has for me, the path is beautiful but along the path there is some huge rocks but the good things is, is God has placed the tools to get through the rock but its going to take time and effort. Going around the rock looks much easier than trying to dig through the rock but I picture myself going around the rock just taking the easy way then I see myself getting lost I lost the path I was once following the one God had right there for me but instead of grabbing the tools to get through it I chose to take the easy way and got lost. I see myself now on my own path and not God's anymore when I am own my own path I realize that its going to take me a long time to get back onto God's path because I have gotten so lost in my own desires. The rock is an example of a hard time. We don't know how long its going to take to get through this time or how we are going to even do it but we have to stay strong we cant just give up and go around it and not deal with it now. We will pull through because we have God and he has placed people in our lives to help us. We cant get lost on our own path because its going to be much more harder after we take the easy way than it would have been to just trust God and persevere through it. We can do this because God is strong for us. But we have to trust in his strength not in our own because in all reality we aren't that strong. There will never be a time that is to hard to persevere through. It may take weeks, months, or even years but it will all be worth it in the end because we serve such a mighty God. I love you all so much. Praying for all the people struggling right now. Trust in God's strength. He loves you. <3

Is God someone worth,

losing everything for? Okay let me just tell you that I had a very lazy day and that's nothing but the truth. haha I didn't get up till like 11:30 then went and got doughnuts with Katie and Elizabeth. They were good but probably not a good idea to have. Then I watched a movie with Jocelyn. Then took a nap and once I got done being completely lazy me and Katie went to Kohls so I could get some dress. Then we decided to go to Panera bread have some dinner and read our books. Which is actually what we are doing right now so I decided I wanted to go ahead and blog. But my day had nothing exciting about it but it was another day I was blessed with so that is exciting. :)

The main thing I want to share with you is about this book I am reading. It is called Radical and it is actually and amazing book. I usually don't like reading but this one is interesting. But as I was reading it tonight I read this one short story that I wanted to share with you all. One Christian in India, while being skinned alive, looked at his persecutors and said, "I thank you for this. Tear off my old garment, for I will soon put on Christ's garment of righteousness." As he prepared to head to his execution, Christopher Love wrote a note to his wife, saying, "Today they will sever me from my physical head, but they cannot sever me from my spiritual head, Christ." As he walked to his death, his wife applauded while he sang of glory. My question to you is do you love Him this much? This book from the beginning has talked about would you give everything you love up for God. If God told you to leave everything you love, like your friend's and family without even saying goodbye to them would you? Would you sell everything you own including your home to go follow God knowing that the days ahead you may be homeless? If you really think about it would you? I kind of question myself if I would. I say I love God with all my heart but do I take it serious enough to the point of if just if he would ask me any of those things would I listen. I hope I would listen and I would like to think I would. But I know that there is still a lot more love I have to give to God. The love that we have to offer God actually looks like hate compared to the love that he has to offer us. Just don't get satisfied with the love that you give God. Always continue to give him more love and affection. You can never give him to much love but you can not give him enough love. So thats all I have. Love you all. <3

When I am weak,

He is strong. After time away from blogging I have realized that I need to get back in the habit of writing every day because to be honest it is my special place to share with people about what God is doing and I hate that I haven't in awhile. Just a lot of crazy things have been going on in my life but to be honest even though bad things go on, I can still share what God is doing in those times. I'm not really going to talk too much about what has been going on over the past days I haven't been blogging, but just start with a certain topic that I have learned. I'm doing this blog earlier than normal just because we have a break before we have to be back at the church for Kidz Klub life group which I'm totally excited about. So just one funny thing I want to share with everyone is this: last night, me and Jocelyn got to watch the Moaklings which was a blast. One funny thing that happened was that I asked Clint where his sweetness was and he looked at me and was like right here as he pointed to his lips. It was the most precious thing ever. Curtus and Amanda have the most amazing kids ever. Babysitting them isn't like a job at all but fun for us.

Okay so here goes with my best explaining what God has done for me recently. You see lately I have been really discouraged and felt like things around me were just all falling apart. Then I lost someone I love very much. He was my Pastor, but also like a grandpa to me. After that all happened, I was like “If anything else goes wrong, I'm seriously giving up on everything!” Then I found out my Great Uncle wasn't going to be making it much longer and I was like, “God seriously? What else is going to go wrong?” Then I realized that this isn't God trying to push me away, but draw me closer to him, and that it wasn't God discouraging me but the Devil. That's when I told myself that it wasn't a time of giving up but of a time of growing up. On Tuesday Pastor Sloan taught us on a class titled “A bad hair day” My title for it is “What are you going to name it?” Basically, what it was about is, whenever you have a bad day are you going to title it a bad day or find the good in it and title it as a good day? One thing he said is there is always good in bad. To be honest it is so true. We just grab onto the bad things instead of the good. So right now I have been hurting but I'm not going to call this time hurt, right now I'm broken but I'm not going to call this time broken, right now I feel weak but I'm not going to call this time weak but instead I have decided that this time is to be called Faithfulness. In this time I'm going to stay so faithful to God that nothing else around me even matters. God will pull me through this time of Faithfulness. I keep saying all I want to happen is one good thing just one good thing but you know maybe good things are happening I just cant see the whole picture yet. I know God has a purpose its not to push me away, but to draw me closer and to prepare me for what he has set ahead for me. Meghan told me the other day that maybe your going through all this right now so that you can become stronger that you may be able to help the ones that you want to help and its so true. Yeah, crazy things are happening in my life right now but crazy things happen in all of ours lives. I want to help some of the most hurting people out there, but how can I help them if I cant even get through my own trials? God is preparing me and if your going through hardship he is preparing you too. So what are you going to name it? Truly think about what you want to name it and not just get angry and name it something that will just discourage you more. This is my time to stay faithful and that is what I will do. Remember God loves you and so do I.
Meghan and Lauren looking good. ;)
No kids are as fun as the Moaklings.

Loving the Unlovable.

 Today was wonderful. I thought I would be worn out because I was up way to late but I actually had alot of energy. This morning we started out with prayer and after that I had devotion and I will talk about my devotion in a minute. We had a pretty simple day. We got some good study time in which is wonderful. I'm hoping to finish reading tonight so I can finish it tomorrow during study time. We also had Josueghan 101 which was Josue and Meghan telling us a little about there life growing up. It was really cool to learn stuff about them that I had not idea about. They are going to do another class about their marriage life which is going to be fun to learn about. We had Uth tonight and it was just a fantastic night. God really moved and Pastor Curtus brought a great message as he always does. It was actually about Acts 4 and I had never really paid any attention to that story but it was a really good night. Afterwards me and Katie went to Waffle house to have a little date to just talk. It was a good time which I believe we both needed. I also got to spend some quality time talking with Sonja and Katie which was really good. I always enjoy being with them two. So God has really blessed today and let us all have great attitudes today which I always love. :)

I just want to tell you about my devotion I did this morning. I actually had a devotion written out and though I didn't change the topic of my devotion God totally changed everything I was going to say while I was praying. I read from Galatians 2:11-14 and what I get from this story of Peter is that Peter was okay with sitting with the non-Jewish people but as soon as the Jewish people came he moved because he was ashamed and scared of what the others may think of him. Paul saw Peter do this and he told him that he was no different than the non-Jewish people because he was not following the truth of the good news. Nothing was making him different than the non-Jewish people because he couldn't even show them love. I believe that is how we are as Christians today. We are so scared to talk to be that are outcast or have a different religion than us because of what other may think and say. To be honest I struggle with this and I really didn't realize who i had affected until this morning in prayer. One thing i wrote down that God gave me was Let our hearts ache for your love Lord. Let it be filled completely with the love of You. Not only that we can love You but that we may love ourselves and others the way you do. If we as Christians aren't going to love the lost, broken, hurting, confused, or just anyone who needs love then who is? We are the ones who are suppose to love everyone not just people like us or people that are for us but EVERYONE. So that's my new goal is to love people the way God loves them. We have to start showing a hurting world, the heart of God. They wont ever see it unless his people share it. So lets make Love something really more than just a word. :) Hope this moves in your heart. I love you all oh so much. Love Always, Maegan

Perseverance in the mist of trial revels who we really are...

 and reveals to us who God really is. Masters has a busy day. I mean it was to crazy but it was fun. We started our day with Prayer and Devotion. This morning Elizabeth has devotion and she spoke on how far are we willing to go to show how much we love him. It was a really great devotion. I actually have it tomorrow morning so pray it goes good. I already have it all written and stuff so I'll tell you about it tomorrow. Today I got to go to the Freshman school with Grant. We went with City Conquest for those of you who don't know what that is, its where we visit schools around us and just talk to the kids and get to know them. Building relationships with them is amazing. I'm very timid when I go but I know I'll break from my shell. I mean come on they are human just like me. It went good though. We then had lunch and after that a break so I went with Katie to tri-county to get her bag she left at the blood center. Once we got back we had a wonderful class with Pastor Curtus which I will talk about in a few. Then we had City Conquest training with the Amazing Lena which was a great time. She has a wonderful and fun personality that I love. After that it was time to come home and relax and also do some school stuff. Also, I'm sorry I lack photo's. I hope to have more tomorrow.

So today Pastor Curtus spoke on Perseverance which I think a lot of us need to really work on. I never saw it this way but perseverance takes a lot of patience and I'm talking a lot. There are always going to be times where things seem to hard to get past but we can either choose to give up or we can trust God and push through. Matthew 10:22 says And you will be hated by all for My name's sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved. So therefore we who persevere through our situations shall be saved. There will be times in ministry where it feels like your going backwards but you have to persevere through it. If it takes days, weeks, months, or even years you can not give up on God. You must trust that he knows what he is doing and he will not lead you into anything that you cant get through. So if there is something that is going on and you have pushed and pushed and nothing has changed well then don't give up and keep giving it your all. We all have to persevere through different things whether its things from the past or things that are happening now we must know that we can get through it when we have God to help us. Galatians 6:9 says And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. So now is the time to realize that we cant give up on things that we are struggling with but we must persevere because great things will come of it even when we cant see it right now we will when the time is right. This is what I learned today thanks to Pastor Curtus. May you all be blessed. Your Jesus loving friend, Maegan.

Life is God's novel.

Let him write it. Okay so I had a crazy long day so if my blog is boring I'm so sorry but I will try to do my best at keeping you all interested. So we had a day off but of course on our day off we make sure we do something. So Me, Katie, and Jocelyn decided we wanted to go donate blood. We made our appointments then basically just waited until we had to leave. Well me and Katie did go get David at work and we also had Taco Bell yummy. We left for our appointments that were at 4 got there and I was the first one on the machine but mine was going to take the longest because I was giving platelets and plasma. Katie had never given blood and Jocelyn had only done it once so they stuck with just giving blood this time. But I was the first one on the machine and the last one off the machine. haha Mine took two hours but it was totally worth it. We didn't get out of there until like 6:00 then we had to go grocery shopping for ourselves and for Masters this week. We weren't very smart because after giving blood we were all wore out and well shopping just made things worse. Katie accidentally rammed her cart into the back of my foot and it hurt extremely bad so after that I started to get light headed and almost passed out but I managed to not do that. Thank the Lord. We hurried and got shopping done as soon as we could, then we took everything to the church and unloaded then came back to the house and now I'm relaxing in my room in the quite. But my day was good overall, just tiring.

So something that was a cool God moment for me today. Me and Katie were talking today and I was talking to her about my Dad and how no one really understands the pain I deal with everyday because they have never been through it. She told me that there might not be anyone here that understands it but there are others that do understand your pain. So I was like yeah I guess so. So we went to give blood today and the reason I love giving Platelets is because it helps Cancer patients so its kind of my way of helping people with Cancer so families don't have to go through what my family went through. So they have a chance at a longer life. Well one of the workers there he was a younger guy was talking to me about how he really respects people who take the time to give platelets because it helped his father have the chance to receive Chemo for another 6 months. So I told him that my dad had passed from Cancer and he said his dad didn't make it either. It totally hit me because God placed that moment there for a reason. For me to realize that maybe I cant find people around me who have went through it but there are others out there who feel just like I do. We even had a chance to talk to him about God and he is a strong believer as well. The strength I find in it is maybe I'll never have someone who can constantly help me with the hurt I feel but I know that I'm not alone in it at all. Because he has been through what I have been through and so has many others. I don't know him at all but to know he lost his dad and he still loves God and he shows a love towards people and always smiles is very encouraging for me. When your hurting and you feel alone in it and don't understand why things happen know that your not at all alone. Anything you have faced or struggle with someone else has faced and struggled with it. So your not in anyway the only one or even alone in it. God is ALWAYS with you. So God is awesome and he always does awesome things when we least expect it. :) So yeah that's all I got for tonight. I love you all. :)

“There is no peace more wonderful than the peace we enjoy when faith shows us...

 God in all created things." My day has had its ups and downs. This morning I went to church and made it more than half way through the service then just felt awful so I had to go home. Laid around until everyone got home then Katie and Rachel the sweet girls they are went and got me some stuff to help me feel better. Elizabeth cuddled with me to make me feel better because she is one of the most loving people I know. Then Sarah and Tim brought me a get well gift. Which was the cutest bear that I named Timarah, they also got me some amazing candy and some Starbucks vanilla frappuccinos which I love. It was all amazing but the best part was just seeing them. They are two of the most amazing people you will ever meet. So my day basically got better in the blink of in eye. From everyone's love I got to feeling better and was able to go to Church tonight. We went to Calvary and it was an amazing time. Kemp Holden is the one who spoke and he did an amazing job. I would talk about his message but I still have a lot I need to understand before i completely understand it. I mean it took him 50 years to get to where he is and he didn't even get to explain it in very detail(because he didn't have time) but it was a lot about prophecies that have been fulfilled from the bible. It was an amazing message that had a lot of knowledge in it. After the service we went to waffle house with a big group and it was great fun. I loved every moment of it. Me, Sean, Grant, and Sonja got to do one of Masters dramas for Jacob and Anthony in the Waffle house parking lot. It was funny. haha But a great night.

So I don't want to talk to much but one thing I want to share that Pastor Kemp Holden said was "All Creation has been corrupted by sin." To be honest that struck me. Its so crazy to think that God's once so beautiful creation has been so corrupted by sin and to be honest a lot of people don't see that. An analogy that I really like is this, You have a garden, that you can put beautiful flowers in, but weeds(sin) keep coming and coming, trying to ruin it, so you have to keep up with it. And even though the weeds may not be showing and everyone sees a beautiful garden, the weeds are underground, cutting apart from the nutrition(God). -Sean Mcmahon Sometimes we really don't see the things affecting this world or we dont even see it affecting us. We live in a world where almost anything we use can be turned into something sinful. Yeah it seems harmless at the time but then we find ourselves miss using things. Like cellphone's, television, music, and so many other things that at the beginning were created for good things. God has given us the choice to use things correctly or not to. You know we see God's beautiful creation just by walking outside but yet we want to fill our minds with awful things. We have to start being more careful with what we do, watch, say, or watch. We are so easily swayed because we are human. We all sin and mess up. But its our time to work on ourselves and who we are in God. Lets start using his beautiful creation for the good things it has to offer instead of the bad. :) Love you all!

There are always uncertainties ahead,

but there is always one certainty--God's will is good. So my day has been very overwhelming and tiring. This morning we had to be at the church for a leadership thing that Meghan's mom Ruth was doing but while we were getting breakfast stuff ready I got a text from my dad saying the were at the hospital because Emily had some issues where she got her tonsil's out on Monday. So of course her being my little sister I wanted to be with her so they had no problem with me going to the hospital. Her veins in her throat had busted open and she had to get surgery again this only happens to 5% of people when they get their Tonsils out. But Em was very happy to see me there because its been almost a month since Ive seen any of my family so it was really nice to be with them. But being at the hospital wore me out. Once I left there I came back to Hamilton and we went over to the DeLong's which is a family from the church that is very kind to us Master students. They fixed us an amazing dinner, some played games, and some of us just relaxed around the fire. I got to talk a little to Ruth about Africa and she got to show me pictures and videos from her trip she went on this year. It really brightened my day to see all the beautiful people of Africa and see how happy they are. I cant wait to have my chance there.

I just want to so thank you to everyone for all the prayers for my little sister. It really scared me and my family. But we trusted in God and knew he would take great care of her and he did. I'm very blessed because he pulled me through the day without completely falling apart. Its very hard for me to be strong when I know someone I love very much is in the Hospital, it makes me think of my childhood. But God truly gave me the strength I needed today and he also gave my family the same strength. So if there is ever a day you just feel like your going to break just turn to God and he will give you the strength you need as long as you trust him. He never ever gives us more than we can handle and I know this. He protected my little sister today and I'm so thankful for that. Also, never forget to thank God everyday for blessing you with another day even when there is chaos in the mist of it, he always pulls you through. Tomorrow is a new day. Let God rock your heart in church tomorrow. I love you all. <3 Psalm 13:5 But I have trusted in Your mercy; My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation.

She was out but it didnt last long. haha

Have faith in God;

 God has faith in you. Today has been a very blah day. I was very sick today. I went in and we did prayer. Then we filled out this personality thing then ate lunch. Then after lunch I got really sick and how to go to the girls house all alone. :( I hate being alone. haha So i basically slept until everyone got home then Elizabeth spent some time with me and made me some yummy soup. After we had all got done eating Rachel boiled me some water and I put vapor rub in it and breathed in the vapor rub for about 10 mins it was an awful 10 mins to be honest. It was very very hot. I'm feeling better now so I'm hoping tomorrow I feel awesome. If not then im going to the doctor even though I know they will just give me medicine that I wont want to take but oh well. I have to get better soon. I didn't get to go to the personality class that Meghan's mom Ruth did, but everyone said it went really good but I'm hoping to get a chance to talk to her about mine and once I understand it a little better Ill talk to you about it.

So tonight I just want to talk a little about a charity that I have been looking into. I know of a lot of Christians that believe this charity is a very good charity but I want to share with you why I disagree with it. I wanted to do a little research before I just talked about Coexist because I didn't want it to look like I didn't do my studying but I have. I actually went to the Coexist website to learn more about it. You see one thing that Coexist believes in is they believe that we have many Faith's and as we as Christians know that is not true. There is only one Faith and we can read that in Ephesians 4:5 which says, one Lord, one faith, one baptism. It doesn't say two faiths or three it says one. The Coexist foundation literally says on their website that God has given us many faiths but we know that, that's not true in anyway. But I can also see why this Charity may seem very appealing to people because a lot of people hate the conflict that happens to go on between religions. But the thing is, is we have to show love to the people that are lost and hurting. This Charity does a lot for people around them so that is really going to attract people and pull people into believing that it is okay to believe in many different religions. We have to start stepping out and letting people see something different in us than they do in people that think its okay to go against God's word. Its sad to see big Charity's like Coexist doing so well and spreading their beliefs all around the world when some of us as Christians aren't stepping out and doing anything. We all have to work in Unity as Christian's believing in one God, one faith, and one baptism because this is the word of God and this is what WE believe. Lets starting sharing the gospel of Christ with the people that are so lost in what this world is making them believe. So that is all I have for tonight. May your day be blessed tomorrow. Love always, Maegan
Dont judge my face. It was in steam.
This is me getting a vapor bath.

You send me letters, I'll send you letters. :)

This is what Coexist stands for.
