but its not easy. So today was just a very relaxed wonderful day. We left to go to Cincinnati around 10:30 this morning. We met up with Curtus, Amanda, and Chase to have pizza for lunch at Newport. Then we all just hung around at Newport for a little while. Then we went to the Serpentine wall over in Cincinnati to do Letters to God. We were to write down the things we wanted to see happen this year. Which it was really cool to have the chance to do it because last year I missed out on it. Once we got done there we came back to Hamilton and we had a break then at 6:30 we had to meet in the choir room because we were doing the covenant service for the first years. Daniel, Meghan and Josue's friend led us in worship which was phenomenal and then he spoke. I will tell you more about what he spoke on in a few. But I just want to say that God has really moved today. Actually he has been really moving this week. I know its starting to get more busy and we have a conference that we have to work very soon but that's okay because with God's help we can do anything. We just need to trust him and have positive attitudes.
So tonight at the covenant service Daniel spoke on how God is calling us to many things. That we need to live for today. Not tomorrow, not next month, and not next year but now. He pointed out three things God is calling us to and they are 1. God is calling you to live a life of Faith 2. God is calling you to stand for justice, purity, and righteousness 3. God is calling you to live for today. All are very true especially with our walk with God. God isn't looking for the most perfect Christian in the world well there isn't even a perfect Christian but he is looking for people who will move. We have to be willing to step out of our comfort zone because if we don't we really never know what all God can do in us and through us. He is asking us if we trust him with everything. Do you? Do you honestly trust him with every area of your life because to be honest I know I truly lack in trusting him with all of my heart. But I'm willing to change that and work on it. The first years made their Covenants with God tonight and it is such an amazing thing to see them fully give themselves to Him for the next 9 months. Some know this but I lost my covenant ring over the summer and well I asked Meghan and Josue if they would get me a new one and they did. I feel like since I got a new ring that I wanted to make a new Covenant with God and I did. My covenant to him is that I will have the most patient heart that I can waiting for the the man he has set out for me. That I will no longer pursue anyone but that he will bring someone to pursue me. Its going to be tough but its time that I hand him the most difficult thing I struggle with. God is amazing and he never gives us more than he knows we can handle. So i trust him. He knows my heart more than anyone. So here is the start of something new for not only me but everyone in Masters. Be praying for us all on this Journey with the Lord. I love you.
