Maegans Journey: The seeds you are planting,

will determine your year. So today was actually alot of fun. We got to put flags along the church drive for the service that we are having on Sunday. A guy that almost didn't make it on 09/11 is going to be speaking on his experience that day. Today we also got to make funny videos for the first years explaining the rules in a funny way. Like what not to do. I was in the one where we were throwing a fit because we were asked one thing and then it got changed. But we had to do like 4 and they are all really funny. We also had a leadership meeting with PC(Pastor Curtus) and it went very well. You should check out this website PC told us about it is called Blueletterbible.org and it will give you Greek translations and it will even say the word for you. Oh and we also had an amazing lunch. It was Salad but we had alot of toppings like turkey,sunflower seeds, cranberry's, and tons of other things that made it amazing. I totally love this whole eating healthy thing. We also all prepared it together which I love even more. There's nothing better than preparing your lunch as a team and cleaning everything up as a team. So first years move in tomorrow and we have the houses all ready and we are all very very excited. I cant wait to meet them all. Please be praying for them all as they will be moving from home and it is rough on some of them. But their lives will be changed so much and I'm so excited to see what God is going to do in them. So before I end this I want to give you an encouraging thing that I learned from the Lord this morning. I wrote it in my Journal of course when i was praying and its kind of long so just go with it. :)
One thing we as Christians may ask ourselves is where is God when we cant feel him and this is what i got today. I know God is always with me. No matter what I'm going through he is always there. But there is also always a time we cant feel him so we jump to thinking he isn't there. I honestly think the times we cant feel him are the times we are just weak and are denying his presence. Its not like God to just leave our side but it is like us to ignore his presence. You have to let go of all the worries,pain and fear and just seek after God. We tend to think praying is just asking and thanking but its so much more than that. Do you ever praise God or even thank God for existing? And I'm not talking about just thanking him with words but with a full on passion. We must remember that in the presence of God is peace, comfort, and Love. So search for God. This is something I truly lack. I always think that just because things aren't going my way that God has totally abandoned me but that isn't true. Its me denying his presence. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you." Deuteronomy 31:6 So trust the presence of God always. Love always, Maegan
